As per Executive Order 1b65ee33-98e6-4b53-b489-5c273a8fffca issued by Matthew, AD, FSEN, Chief Director of Engineering, Cloud Services Account and Technical Support has been suspended on the Jira Service Desk (formerly on staff.libraryofcode.org) and moved over to Cloud Services Help Desk#9744. This change to Cloud Services Support was authorized and declared as an emergency action at 11:46 PM ET on 14th May 2021, directing the Department of Engineering to process this change.
This change was deemed necessary because the staff server had insufficient computing resources to provide a stable and optimal environment for running other core processes and Jira Service Desk was inefficiently being utilized.
As previously prefaced, we will no longer be using Jira Service Desk for Cloud Services Account and Technical Support. Instead, you will have to direct message Cloud Services Help Desk#9744, the official bot for requesting and receiving Cloud Services Account and Technical Support.
We may still request for information you provide to us on Jira Service Desk (e.g., your Cloud Services Support Key).
One of the primary reasons we used the Jira Help Desk for Cloud Services Account and Technical Support was to maximize the information security of our users’ tickets and information. The security of your tickets and handling protocols will not be changed unless otherwise updated by NightRaven, AD, FSO, Head of Information Security. Both the security level and associated access requirement will remain as is.
This change was processed immediately by the Department of Engineering. As of the moment, you will not be able to access Jira Service Desk.
As stated by the Chief Director of Engineering has stated that this may either be a temporary or permanent solution; the official status is not determined as yet. Expect further updates regarding the situation from the Board of Directors.
